Applications open for community climate support program

A program for community leaders in northern Wisconsin who are looking for ways to address climate change is available through Wisconsin Sea Grant and the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve.

Disaster preparedness project in northeastern Wisconsin will build on earlier flood resilience work

Funding from the National Sea Grant Office and NOAA’s Disaster Preparedness Program will allow Wisconsin Sea Grant to strengthen communities’ resilience to flooding by looking at who lives in the most flood-prone areas of a city.

Speaker Jackson Parr will discuss the Flood Resilience Scorecard and how it helps Wisconsin communities prepare for flooding events and their aftermaths.
