Exploring Great Lakes Shipwrecks: What advice would you give to a young person interested in a career in science? Go for it, or whatever career you are interested in. People told me that I would never get a job doing underwater archaeology. Take a chance and go after the career, whatever it is, that interests you. Find a career that you feel passionate about. As far as skills, writing skills and communications are skills that are critical. You can use these wherever you go.
