Is it a trout or a salmon?

Spots large and elongate (largest as big as diameter of whole eye)--pink salmon
OR

Spots small and round (approx. no larger than size of pupil of eye)

All fish with dark spots on tail and 13-19 anal fin rays: pink salmon, chinook salmon, coho salmon
