Education
Lifelong Learning

The goal of Wisconsin Sea Grant’s education efforts is to increase marine science literacy across the full spectrum of education - from children in grade school to Ph.d. candidates and beyond - and to extend the effort laterally to reach any group that might benefit from knowledge of Great Lakes and ocean affairs.

A substantial amount of education activities are carried out by our Outreach staff via enhancements to teacher training, displays, workshops, conferences for out-of-school adults, Wisconsin's Water Library, publications, distance learning, radio programs, video and other electronic media.
