Snow Bunting Field ID

Size: 6"-7"

Wing span: 12"-14"

Weight: 1.09-1.62 ounces

Color: In winter plumage (which is how they look while in the Great Lakes states), Snow Buntings are whitish, with black streaks down the back and rusty coloring over the upper parts. The tail is black and white, and the wings are mostly white with black tips. The bill is yellowish orange.
