Ring-billed Gull Field ID

Size: 17-21 inches

Wing span: 41-48 inches

Weight: 11-25 ounces

Color: In breeding plumage, the Ring-billed Gull features a white head, chest and tail. Its wings are light gray with black tips and white spots on very tips of the feathers. The legs and eyes are yellow, and the yellow bill features a black ring around the tip. Males are slightly larger than females, though the sexes are colored alike. Juveniles have a dirty grayish-brown head, back and chest.
