Osprey — Field ID

Weight: 2.6-.2 lbs.

Color: The osprey is a large raptor with a white breast and belly, a white head with a dark stripe across the eyes, and a black back and wings. Its tail and wing feathers are finely barred black and gray, and its eyes are bright yellow. Look for a large, dark mark at the spot where the wing bends. Females are larger than males, though their coloring is similar.
