Osprey — Description

According to some birders, “an osprey is a hawk that looks like a gull but is not.” Like gulls, the osprey's outspread wings show a distinctive bend at the elbow, giving the entire wingspread a distinctive “M” shape. The osprey's wings, however, are longer and broader than those of gulls.
