Marsh Wren Description

Marsh Wrens have slender, down-curving bills and frequently hold their tails upright. However, because of their small size, coloring and reclusive nature, these birds tend to stay well hidden among marsh cattails and reeds. Occasionally, a male wren may climb a cattail stalk for a quick look at an intruder.
