Canada Goose – Field ID

Size: 25"-45"

Wing span: 42"-65"

Weight: 6.5-20 lbs.

Color: The Canada Goose has a black head, eyes, bill and neck and a bold white cheek patch or “chinstrap.” The breast is tan to cream-colored, the back brownish, the tailfeathers black and the rump white. Legs are black. Males, females and juveniles are colored alike.
