Clearinghouse Subscriptions Available

ROCKPORT, N.Y. -Subscriptions to Dreissena polymorpha Information Review, the official publication of the New York Zebra Mussel Information Clearinghouse, are now available for $60 annually.

The subscription includes 6 bimonthly issues, 1 2 special issues and an annual bibliography update. Subscribers are also entitled to free copies of research articles (up to 50 pages) and 2 free searches of the clearinghouse database. Back issues and replacement copies may be available.

The Zebra Mussel Update was a 4- to 8-page quarterly national newsletter published by the University of Wisconsin Sea Grant Institute from May 1990 through May 1997. The ZMU documented the spread of the zebra mussel -- an exotic nuisance mussel -- through North America's freshwater environments, especially the Great Lakes, and on efforts to control it.
